Good morning and happy Friday! Can you believe Thanksgiving is already less than a week away? I just think that’s nuts. Time is flying. It looks like we’ll be getting our first snowstorm today so it will definitely be beginning to look a lot like Christmas. Time to put out the yard decorations!

Each year around Christmas time our family takes a road trip down to Arkansas to spend time with family. We have family in both Arkansas and Texas – most of whom are from Minnesota- and we all meet in Arkansas to stay with my grandparents. I’ve gone the last two years but last year was the first year my own immediate family went and we all had so much fun. And the kids were really good in the car too! Four well-behaved kids during a ~ 10 hour drive is pretty sweet I think.

I was farting around on Pinterest looking for different road trip ideas and things for the kids to do and I came across a couple of different road trip printables where kids could write about their trip. I loved the idea but I couldn’t find any that were “Christmasy”. So I created my own that I plan to share with my kids when we get back from our trip!

I decided to share it here also in case anybody else would like to use it or use it as inspiration for their own. :)

I’m definitely not a printables pro but I think this one turned out pretty cute. You could use it for long road trips or any road trip that you take during the holidays. It’s a fun way for kids to record their experiences and be able to look back on great memories as they get older.
